Description

Bubbha Thomas & the Lightmen "Country Fried Chicken" LP on Lightin' Records (LP-2002) LP: VG++/ Sleeve VG

Nice clean original pressing of this classic Houston Funk LP produced by Conrad Johnson of the Kashmere Stage Band fame. But, after all Bubbha was one of Conrad's students so that should be no surprise. Super obscure and only the 2nd copy I've laid my eyes on in the last 5 plus years. Lots of great funky moments including "Country Fried Chicken", "Survival Song" and "Herbs of Life." Also a great spiritual jazz cut "Sweey Ray" which rivals the best of the Strata-East or Tribe releases.

The LP itself is unplayed but has some small smuges on it from being in the packaging all this time. But super glossy and sounds great... VG++. Jacket is only VG. Front cover looks pretty good but the back is faded and a little dirty. Small creases on 2 corners. Seems are pretty much all intact but they are worn. A great copy of this incredibly rare LP!

I accept Paypal and Money order. I will ship anywhere. Bidder pays shipping cost. $3 w/in the states, more everywhere else. Email me if you have any questions.
