COLLECTORS’ ITEM! RARE ESTONIAN VOICE HAND SIGNED COPY BY TENOR AARNE VIISEMAA THE TITLE OF THE ALBUM IS “VOLUUAID VIISE VIISIMALT”
A truly collectors’ item !! A hand signed copy of a rare LP on the ESTONIA VOICE label and it comes with 8 page booklet.. The title of the album is “VOLUUAID VIISE VIISIMALT”. The artist is the exiled Estonian tenor AARNE VIISEMAA, creator of the opera tradition of the “Vanemuine”. Side one of the LP contains a selection of the singer’s gramophone recordings between 1928 and 1936. Side two is recorded during his first concert tour to North America in Massey Hall, Toronto, on January 13, 1963. Thanks to an audio amateur among his fellow countrymen in Toronto his unforgettable concert was recorded on magnetic tape. As may be expected the technical quality of the source recording was less than perfect so quality extracts were selected and included on side two. The vinyl looks new (unplayed) and the jacket and the signature have been well preserved thanks to a plastic wrap. Payment by PAYPAL. Lucky winner pays shipping and handling costs. Please consult my other e-Bay listings for other great records in opera and classical music.
