Description
A very rare collection of Hank Williams records. Three of only four which Hank recorded on the Sterling label before he signed on with MGM. These are rarely seen, and because of their scarcity,
Gerry Osborn lists them in the $500-$1000, each range and even higher. To my way of thinking these should be framed or displayed in a music memorabilia manner by someone who does that sort of thing. I myself am too old and cleaning out!! Trying to describe condition is difficult, for I find most 78 rpm records play okay on my wind-up victrola, but would not give good results on electronic equipment. I hope the scans show the way the records look. There are no deep scratches, just scuffs and age marks. Never Again is cracked, but the label is clean. The title of "When God Comes and Fathers His Jewels", should be "Gathers"!! Mislabeled of course. The song book is from 1948, and lists songs Hank wrote, describing his life before 1953 when he died. Buying as is, I accept Paypal, with $8.00 shipping. Overseas shipping to be calculated. Any questions cheerfully answered. Thanks for looking.
