Description
This is a rare,numbered,Limited Edition Vinyl print that was designed to celebrate HMV`s heritage on the occasion of the original store at 363 Oxford Street closing down and relocated to larger site almost opposite at 360 Oxford Street.
It was produced in 2000 in collaboration with EMI-the previous parent company of HMV who had opened the store in the first place in July 1921. It features a recording by the celebrated British composer/conductor, Sir Edward Elgar on one side,and Robbie Williams singing Millennium on the other. Elgar had opened the original HMV store and also released his recordings on the HMV label,while Williams was the no.1 solo EMI artist at this time.
The sleeve artwork features images of the HMV 363 Oxford Street store during its 80 year history.
