Description
This is a mint-unplayed copy of the original LP by Icelandic heavy-progressive rock group Svanfríður - from 1972. The record was issued on the band´s own label (SVAN 1) and comes in a gate-fold textured sleeve, with all the lyrics (which are sung in English) written on the inside. The group consisted of four players, Birgir Hrafnsson (guitar), Gunnar Hermannsson (bass), Sigurður Karlsson (drums) and the late Pétur Kristjánsson (vocals), who later lead the heavy rock group Pelican. The tracks included are The Woman Of Our Day, The Mug, Please Bend, What´s Hidden There, What Now You People Standing By, Give Me Some Gas and My Dummy. Apart from this LP, Svanfríður only made one single, in 1973. This is a perfect copy of a rare record, which has not been reissued officially on CD.
