Description
Recorded in 1973, this LP was the first commercial effort to showcase Tony Rice's amazing abililties on the acoustic guitar. Backed by his then band mates in the The New South, it features the stellar playing of J.D. Crowe (banjo), Larry Rice (mandolin) and Bobby Slone (bass, fiddle). Although reissued some years later on Rebel Records, most believe this Japanese pressing is superior in sound quality. These are very rare in the marketplace. The disc itself has never been played, the jacket shows virtually no wear as it has been kept in a protective plastic sleeve.
