I am selling my crazy rare (as in one of two) 1998 Beastie Boys Intergalactic Prisoners of Technology TMS-1 vocal mix 10” acetate. This is one of two known to exist and according to Beastiemania, Fatboy Slim has the other one. If you search Discogs you will find a listing for it and the photos are of my copy. I purchased this record from a world renowned Beastie collector and one of the founders of Beastiemania who at one time had probably the largest collection of Beastie vinyl in the world. He confirmed that although the Beastie mania listing says there is only one copy, this is in fact the second pressing. It has an unknown track on the B side. I have played the record once just so I could hear the complete lyrics and how it differs from the commercially released non-vocal mix. The disc has some scuffing and marks on it as well as some superficial cracks in the acetate coating on the outer edge of the B side but the Beastie track plays through without issue and has minimal noise/static. This disc is the only place you will hear the vocal mix of Intergalactic Prisoners of Technology TMS-1 and you will never see one of these again. I have been collecting Beastie vinyl for over 20 years and currently have over 500 records in my collection. Many of my records are extremely hard to find (test pressings, acetates, mispressings, boots, etc…) and often are the only copies I have ever come across. I plan on slowly selling my collection to fund my latest vinyl obsession. Please feel free to message me about any Beastie vinyl you are looking for and chances are I have it and will list it.
