Description
Anecdotally recorded in left-over studio time after one of Sandy Denny's albums. A loving and respectful journey through late fifties/early sixties rock and roll and doo-wop songs by an assortment of the folk-rock aristocracy. I remember Rosie Hardman telling me that all folkies secretly wanted to be rock and roll singers and this proves it!
This is possibly the finest copy out there, still with most of the shrink-wrap, and complete with the mega-rare 'Let There Be Drums' floppy 7" 45 rpm record which was inserted in slots on the sleeve front. This has been kept in a card sleeve seperately for (wow!) thirty five years so the slots are unworn and as new. The sleeve and the disc are NM, the original inner has some faint glue? stains and the floppy plays fine at 1.5gms.
Lastly I confirm that this is NOT the later Hannibal/Carthage reissue - that's a quality pressing I know as I also have that! The reissue has no floppy and no slots in the sleeve.
If you intend to purchase multiple items in order to reduce the postage per item cost, I reduce the p&p for subsequent purchased items to half the single item fee BUT you must inform me at the time of your first purchase that you intend to do this; I will invoice the first item at full cost and each subsequent purchase with the postage halved. Note that I can only mail 6 or 7 LPs together as a 'Small Packet' this depending on the age and therefore the weight of each disc. Purchasing more than this means I will have to start a new pack and again the initial purchase will be at full p&p cost.
