Special note to foreign bidders: I declare foreign shipments as merchandise with the value you bid for them. Shipment to foreign buyers is via priority mail international with insurance for the value bid. Please e-mail for shipping costs before bidding as this method costs more, but is insurable and trackable. Example: United Kingdom 1-2 pounds $29.75 + $1.85 box/tape/pack = $31.60.
Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.

Feedback/bidding policy: I check feedback daily and will return feedback promptly. Although I go to great lengths to accurately describe my items, if you feel the merchandise is not as described, e-mail me BEFORE leaving feedback and we will resolve it. Please note I do allow returns (see return policy below).

Description: Up for your consideration is the next in a series of unique Lps, this one featuring a Swedish group consisting of:

  1. Arne Domnerus
  2. Bengt Hallberg
  3. Georg Riedel
  4. Egil Johansen
  5. Lars Erstrand

Several unique things about this item: Firstly, the records retain the original shine with no visible imperfections.
Based on visual observation and past experience, one should expect the tracks on this disc to audibly average at least half way between VG+(excellent) and Near Mint.

Secondly, my Internet research shows this set is VERY COLLECTIBLE by audiophile jazz collectors. Unless you can find a sealed copy, I doubt you will find one in better condition.

Bid early and often so you don't miss out on this item!

It is further described below, please take the time to read before bidding.

Please e-mail if questions.

Be sure to check my other listings to save postage on multiple winning bids. Please explore the "Me" link above(next to feedback rating) to check out my store and some of the 15,000+ records / books / CD's / cassettes I have for sale as well as the LP to CD transfer service I offer.

I am using the Goldmine scale of G=Good(1), VG = Very Good(2), VG+ = Very Good Plus(excellent)(3), NM = Near Mint(4) when grading the disc(s).

Here is a summary of the record(s):

Artist: (listed above) Title: Jazz at the Pawnshop Record: Black vinyl with original shine and no visible imperfections. Labels: Light orange with mostly black print. Across the label is shown: Proprius books & music. No pen/pencil marks, no stickers, a few very short/light spindle marks. Trailing wax: Side 1: "PROP 7778 A" and "GP1". Side 2: "PROP 7778 B" and "GP1 23". Inner sleeve: Two, white sleeves with clipped corners and protective plastic inner linings. Light folds. Cover: Slight, general wear front/back. Corners slightly worn with a few bumped/creased tips. No seam splits, no stickers, no pen/pencil marks. Rate the cover VG to VG+(excellent), closer to VG+(excellent). Comments: . Based on past experience and visual observation, one should expect the tracks to audibly average at least 1/2 of the way between VG+(excellent) and Near Mint. An excellent addition to your Swedish jazz collection. Side 1: Side 2: Limehouse Blues Struttin' with some barbeq I'm confessin' Jeep's blues High life Stuffy Side 3: Side 4: Lady be good How high the moon Here is that rainy day Take five Barbados Everything happens to me

Additional criteria I use when audibly grading records for people:

  • NM(4) = absolutely nothing wrong at all (very rarely happens--I've even opened sealed records and they don't play Near Mint)
  • 3.5-3.9 = very, very light surface noise
  • 3.1-3.4 = very light surface noise, very light pops
  • VG+(3) = up to light pops and light surface noise (below this, one's enjoyment is affected, very subjective)
  • VG(2) = up to medium pops and moderate surface noise
  • G(1) = up to heavy pops and heavy surface noise

I normally ship Lp's in 14"x14"x6" boxes padded in styrofoam. Weight with box is about 2 pound 1 oz. Shipping is: $3.16 Media Rate (2-3 pounds) + $1.50 box/tape/packing + $.80 delivery confirmation = $5.45.
