Description
For your consideration - an original 1978 pressing of a seminal punk/gothic record: Joy Division - “A Factory Sample” 7-inch, 33-1/3-rpm 2-disc gatefold and contains 2 tracks by Joy Division.
sold out its only pressing of 5000 copies in only two months after its release, in December 1978.
I have owned this record since 1982 and only played it once to record to tape.
This gatefold with artwork by Peter Saville is printed with black ink on metallic silver paper and sealed in a clear plastic sleave. The sleave is in very nice condition and the discs are very clean as well.
This is also the first imprint from Martin Hannett and Tony Wilson's Factory Records: Written by Joy Division, Published by Fractured Music, Produced by Martin Zero, A Factory Records Product, FAC-2, Recorded on the Eleventh of October, Cargo Studios, Rochdale
