Description
This is the RARE & Original STEREO U.S. 1974 Pressing of Tales Untold by KOPPERFIELD. All tunes written by Kopperfield copyright 1974 and recorded on Kopperdisc 5014N5 - manufactured in Cincinnati, Ohio. This is some great and virtually unknown early Psychedelic Rock. Songs include: Moonride, Anatomy, Brain Rot, Watching The Time Go By, Nothing Left To Give, Truckin' On, Tales Untold, Magic In Your Mind, A Thousand Warriors, Wise Man and Dreams. There are a few spindle marks & a small label tear around the hole but no writing on either side. The album does have a some visible scratches but nothing that really affects the play or overall sound. There is one "pop" on the second side that may be a "skip" but honestly it's difficult to tell as it blends right in with the music. Using the Goldmine grading system I would grade it VG or better ( I try to grade conservatively). Much of the original gloss is still on the album cover with no marks or tears to the front. There are a few "spots" on the back and a little discoloration around the boarders but I would still grade it "VG" or better. It includes what I believe is the original sleeve and the ORIGINAL LYRIC SHEET. This is an EXTREMELY DIFFICULT album to find in this format in ANY condition...almost IMPOSSIBLE with the original sleeve and lyrics. I'm including a brief description of Grades to help clarify them for the novice collector. VERY GOOD PLUS: "record will show signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect ones listening experience. The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. An LP jacket may have slight signs of wear also and may be marred by a cut-out hole". VERY GOOD: Surface noise will be evident upon playing but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time, only two or three of them". GOOD/GOOD PLUS: "A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear. A jacket or sleeve will have seem splits. Tape writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the object". S/H is Priority w/tracking & includes a new album mailer (ins. extra). I will ship media mail if you wish but recommend insurance if you choose this method. I have recently had some media mailing take up to a month to arrive. Once the album is dropped off at the post office I have no control over the length of time it takes to be delivered (please be aware of that if you choose Media Mail).
