I’m selling my much loved picture disc of The Kick Inside the debut album by the hugely talented Kate Bush. Back in February 1978 I heard and saw Kate for the first time on ‘Top Of The Pops’ performing her debut single ‘Wuthering Heights’. An intriguing young newcomer with an unusual beauty, a unique vocalist, song-writer, musician and performer. I was hooked. In March I was working in the record department of Boots when the album was released and unpacking the stock I saw this separately packed disc. It was the picture disc and had a stunning photograph of Kate on each side. I put it to one side and bought it after I collected my pay from the office that day. I’ve loved it ever since but now it’s time to move on.
