Description

The King Sisters "Spanish Town" - The American Record Corporation of California (test pressing)
Original one-sided 10 3/4" 78rpm test pressing record from 1939 in outstanding E- condition. Plays excellent. Listen to sample on the audio player below. They were recording for Bluebird at the time so I'm not sure why this would be on an ARC label. It could date previous to their Bluebird contract. They are accompanied by rhythm guitar and novachord, the world's first synthesizer. Beautifully recorded.
I use the VJM grading system for 78's and have many years of experience grading, selling, packing and shipping 78's safely. Check my feedback for many happy customers. I'm a long time record collector and send 78's (and all records) exactly the way I'd like to receive them. Record will be sandwiched between layers of new heavy corrugated cardboard, then wrapped several times with large bubble wrap and packed in a new 12x12x4 box for safe shipping.
