Margaret Messer Morris was a Canadian soprano who moved to Los Angeles around 1918. She performed many concerts while living there and was often accompanied by Charles Wakefield Cadman.
Charles Wakefield Cadman (1881-1946) was an American composer and pianist who helped to found the Hollywood Bowl where he was a frequent performer. He wrote the scores for a number of films and, along with Dmitri Tiomkin, was considered one of Hollywood's top film composers.

Mint Minus (M-) - A near perfect record.
Excellent Plus (E+) - A clean record with no groove wear.
Excellent (E) - A record with no groove wear with only minimal traces of use and handling.
Excellent Minus (E-) - An above average record with a slight degree of groove wear, but not enough to seriously detract from it audio quality.
Very Good Plus (V+) Obviously well played, but still enjoyable. Noticeable graying in the grooves.
Very Good (V) - Very well worn, but listenable. Expect the surface noise to be significant. There may be some stressed grooves.
