Description:

Up for your consideration is the next in a series of unique Lps, this one featuring Lattie Moore.
A few unique things about this item: Firstly, this record retains much of the original shine with a few very light marks and fingerprints grading by sight in normal room light. I'm sure if you took this and put it under a 1000 watt bulb, you'd probably find something that makes it less than mint. If you're that kind of collector, let me suggest this auction is not for you. 
I don't claim this record is mint. I took the time to play it and found the ten (10) tracks to audibly average ABOVE half way between VG+(excellent) and Near Mint.  You can assign your own grade based on my comments on what I heard and the GRADING SCALE BELOW!. 
Keep in mind how it plays for me may differ than how it plays for you based on differences in audio equipment.

I am using the Goldmine scale of G=Good(1), VG = Very Good(2), VG+ = Very Good Plus(excellent)(3), NM = Near Mint(4) when grading the disc(s).
Here is a summary of the record(s):
Artist: Lattie Moore
Title:  Country Side Record:  Black vinyl with the original shine with a few very light marks and fingerprints grading by sight in normal room light. Labels:  Blue with silver print. No stickers.  A number written in black marker next to the center hole each side.  Some light writing above the title on each side.  Lots of spindle marks.  Some flaking around the center hole. Trailing wax:  Side 1: "AL-12-1573-A-1". Side 2: "AL-12-1573-B-1".  Inner sleeve(s):  A generic sleeve will be provided. Cover: Bottom seam split about 4/5 of the way.  Top seam was probably split about 1/2 of the way and has been taped with multiple short pieces (about 10) of clear tape (see scan). Corners slightly worn.  Lower outer corner was taped at one point and there are 5 small pieces of tape along the bottom seam.  Crossed out name on the back top seam (see scan).  No stickers. Slight general wear. Rate the cover Good to VG, probably closer to G. You can assign your own grade based on my comments. Comments:  I found the ten (10) tracks to audibly average ABOVE half way between VG+(excellent) and Near Mint. You can assign your own grade based on my comments on what I heard and the GRADING SCALE SHOWN!.  A great addition to your LP collection.

Additional criteria I use when audibly grading records for people: NM(4) = absolutely nothing wrong at all (very rarely happens--I've even opened sealed records and they don't play Near Mint)
3.5-3.9 = very, very light surface noise 3.1-3.4 = very light surface noise, very light pops VG+(3) = up to light pops and light surface noise (below this, one's enjoyment is affected, very subjective) VG(2) = up to medium pops and moderate surface noise G(1) = up to heavy pops and heavy surface noise
I normally ship single LP records in a 13x13x2 box. Weight with box is about 1 pound 2 oz. Shipping is 1-2 pounds Media Rate, $4.87 + $1.50 box = $6.37
Alternatively, I can ship in a 14 x 14 x 6" box. Weight with box is about 1 pound 11 oz. Shipping is $4.87 Media Rate (1-2 pounds) + $3.70 box/tape/packing = $8.57.  I have to buy those boxes individually.
I'm shipping to you at cost.  If you feel it is too much, please look elsewhere.  E-bay will charge me 10-15% of the shipping as well.
This auction is currently set to ship in the smaller box. If you want the larger box, let me know and I'll send an appropriate invoice.
Buyer pays shipping/handling. Standard method within U.S. is Media Rate, $6.37. This includes online tracking. Outside U.S., e-mail location to determine S/H costs prior to auction end. Insurance / other methods of shipping cost extra. Payment received within ten days of auction ending.
