Description

Rare record, Capital records, documentary album on the effects of LSD. Test played no issues at all. Record can be graded as EX. But I'll give it a vg+ I'm not seeing any spindle marks. Cover has some discoloration due to age, no seam seam splits. Spine has cracked on the cover paste over.

More photos available any questions just ask. Record will be spin cleaned after sale.

Some of the music for this album was provided by the Neal Cassidy & the Warlocks who later became the Grateful Dead. Multiple use of parts of "Speed Limit" which is found on Warlocks / Prankster tapes from 1965.

The musicians were uncredited on the album.

This LP features some of the most prominent figures in the psychedelic movement of the 1960s, including Alan Ginsberg, Dr. Timothy Leary, The spoken word documentary, titled "LSD," was released in 1966 by Capitol Records in a black vinyl format with a cardboard sleeve. The record is a first edition, first pressing and is in very good plus (VG+) condition, as is the sleeve.

The LP includes interviews with prominent figures in the movement, as well as excerpts from lectures and poetry readings. It is a must-have for collectors of spoken word and psychedelic memorabilia.
