The picture on the vinyl goes right to the edge of the vinyl.

The edge is not clear or Black.

Madonna's neck and necklace are visible on the picture .

There is no black rim present. I am aware that the original Japan press has a clear edge however when looking this copy up on Discogs  I found it's listed country is Hong Kong. I have an original Japanese pressing of The first album listed also, so I can easily compare the rims. The only difference I can see is the Catalog number they have listed is WP25442 as you can see on my pressing it's missing the P . See link below .

There are no markers for a catalog number on the record that I can see. The insert carries nothing to state which press it may be . This is not a standard copy from what I gather nor is it the Original and known Japanese press. So what is it ? Well I will leave that up to you . This comes from a personal Madonna collection as you can see most of which is listed in my other auctions so this was purchased at time or release .

GRADED

VINYL : GOOD + 

I HAVE PLAYED BOTH SIDES OF THE VINYL AND ITS PLAYS THROUGH. There is surface noise present throughout and intro crackle at the beginning/quiet parts. There are the odd pop present . This has to be a GOOD + for me because of the surface noise and the fact that it has the pops, having said all that I have happily listened to it several times before listing to make sure I am not missing anything major(and I am fussy with my listening quality) 

Still a great vinyl but it has to be a GOOD + 

Has  surface marks.

As I say plays through no skips or jumps 

SLEEVE : Sleeve generic plastic.

INSERT :  is a lyric sheet : GOOD + Has some discoloration and a small whole in center please see pictures .

Please note I am EXTREMELY cautious when grading and will always under grade to ensure you the buyer are happy.

                    GRADING SYSTEM 

    Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. 

    Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing. 

    Very Good+: The record has been played but has very few surface marks or light scratches. There is very little lessening of sound quality although might have occasional crackle hiss or pop. The cover and packaging might have some wear and / or creasing. 

    Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. 

    Good+: The record has been played many times, but despite many surface marks and light scratches there is very little lessening of sound quality although may have occasional crackles hiss or pop. The cover and contents suffer from some folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc... 

    Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc... 

    Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing. 

    Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing. 

    Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
