Description

RARE BBC TRANSCRIPTION OF LIVE CONCERT. Less than 100 copies made. Near mint.
Maurizio Pollini playing Beethoven Piano Sonata in C Major (Waldstein). Also, Etudes Symphoniques by Schumann.
There are 2 Stereo LPs for this program. Discs were made by BBC to be played by licensed radio stations only so very few copies made. No announcer commentary but typewritten program notes are included.  
Recordings are near mint with just minor marks. Thorough cleaning is recommended before playing. LPs come in paper sleeves in good condition. Will be shipped in a plastic outer sleeve.
Pollini is one of the titans of the piano. BBC engineers very experienced in getting the best possible sound in live recordings. Great collectors item.
