Description
Being offered is the very rare first Vertigo Pressing with the Squeet/Sqeet misprint .
As you can see the gatefold sleeve is a bit grubby and has very noticeable brown marks on the sleeve particularly in the white areas of photo 1, less so on photo 3. You will see that there is a rubbed area , see photo 2. I have seen this in the same place on another copy, I suspect there was a sticker there that was carelessly removed.
Spine somewhat rubbed ( see photo 4).
The inner gatefold is not too bad in appearance apart from a previous owner has written their name on the top righ hand side. the edges of the gatefold are somewhat rubbed, see photos 8 and 9.
The vertigo inner sleeve is somewhat speckled with brown marks, it also has heavy brown marks on the inner edges ( see photos 14 & 15). I am not storing the record in that sleeve but in a modern clean sleeve. You will also see that it is torn in two places , photo 12. The edge is also split ( photo 13).
And so to the vinyl, it has very little evidence of anything other than light surface wear, no deep scratches or scuffs and when I played it I heard but two clicks towards the end of track 1 and nothing else to disturb your listening pleasure. I would place it easily in VG territory and edging towards VG plus.
