Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. VERY RARE, hardly EVER see for avaliability ... Original 1973 first pressing on the small private "Other World" label ... it's a strangely strange conceptual psych-progressive underground tripper of the way-out...
1973 underground creation as an epic progressive sci-fi voyage...complete with otherworldly psychedelic designed cover art sleeve ... best described from text on back cover:"Welcome to the Other World of the Tower.
The medium is stereophonic sound, the concept is excitingly unconventional, the result is electrifying.
Based on a story by Thomas N. Scortia, The Tower unveils the ultimate atomic war and its aftermath, bringing not only death and destruction, but also the tragic horror of physical mutations resulting from from the radioactive fallout that drastically affects any as yet unborn children.
Side one opens with the theme from The Tower and continues into musique concrete, a collage of striking instrumental prog/psych instrumentation interludes amid wiggy audio effects depicting the advent of the final nuclear holocaust and the subsequent transition to an Other World......
Our doyssey continues through the various pitfalls and misadventures encountered on this audio journey, until we hear of the final bizarre triumph in the profound "Lyrictronics" of the closing scenes" Reportedly disc jockeys received many calls when played over the radio airwaves....
