COME OUT FIGHTING GHENGIS SMITH by ROY HARPER 1967
A VERY RARE HIGHLY COLLECTABLE EARLIEST PRESSING MONO ALBUM.
I don't know how many copies of this LP were ever issued but this is the first pressing in mono on heavy vinyl.
The sleeve is in almost mint condition with only slight creasing to the laminate and minor bumping to the corners. At the top left hand side of the back cover is written a small “G49“ (in pencil - I numbered all my collection this way !). The spine is intact, a little rubbed but the title is clear. The inner sleeve is also in good condition with the album title written in pencil on one side.
The record is in clean bright condition with no scratches, just the usual hairlines caused by removal from the sleeve. It plays with no jumps or skips but there is some crackle between the tracks and during some of the quieter moments. Labels are well coloured, clean and bright with minimal spindle marks. Overall the record plays well considering it's age - I'd forgotten just how good it is !!
