Condition: Wax - VG+, Jacket - VG+
This auction is for a very RARE Metallica 12" collection of demos - Garage Days Revisited.
How Totally Awesome is this??!!! I actually don't think this is the traditional Garage Days Revisited, rather a collection of demos from 82 and 83 put out by FANCY Records out of France in 1986! The line up is listed as having Dave Mustaine on all tracks, but I believe the tracks on side 2 are from the 1983 demos for Ride The Lightning which featured Kirk Hammett. This has been a gem in my collection for sometime, but now it can add some value to yours! Very Super Sweet!!!
Tracks:
Side 1 (1982 Demos)
Hit The Lights
The Mechanics
Motorbreath
Jump In The Fire
Metal Militia
Side 2 (1983)
Fight Fire With Fire
Ride The Lightning
When Hell Freezes Over (later renamed "The Call of Ktulu")
Creeping Death
Grading:
Mint (M) - I rarely use this rating. Nothing is ever mint unless I was the first person to touch the wax or sleeve from the factory or it is sealed with no obvious marring or bending.
Near Mint (NM) - The wax has little to no surface scratches or imperfections and should play with no problems. The sleeve has no tears, smears, sticky stuff from removed price tags or ring or edge wear. You may see NM+ every now and then for records that I feel are in exceptional condition.
Very Good (VG) - The wax may have some obvious signs of prior play (minor surface scratches) or imperfections that don't effect play (like a ragged outer edge). The sleeve may have some wear but still looks good and functions well overall.
Good (G) - The wax has been played a lot and has much wear but looks like it is still playable. The sleeve has more wear than VG but is not completely falling apart.
Generally G is the lowest I go, but every now and then I will list items that are in worse condition. If I do, I promise to use colorful euphemisms to describe the record's condition.
Also, my grading system is meant to describe the quality of the product as it refers to age/wear/use, NOT as it relates to quality of the original material. For instance, I have many records that have nice, full color sleeves on heavy card stock. I also have records that have sleeves made on very thin paper and are only 2 colors (the color of the paper and one other ink). Obviously the former will look nicer than the latter even if both are labeled NM. You get the idea.
I will always combine shipping on multiple items if possible, just ask! For the USA I can do $4 for 1-2 records, $5 for 3-4 records, $6 for 5-6 records, etc. As long as I can fit 'em in the same box we're good to go! I will be happy to ship worldwide if you'll be happy to pay for the shipping!
