RARE NORTH CAROLINA GARAGE LP Introducing The Counts Reliable 12048 Gastonia NC Group, fairly predictable style for this LP, white guys with High School level instrumental talent and very good vocals, just an obscure release from a small NC town. Cover is VG- with complete top and bottom splits, autographed on back by Mike Gunter, one of the band members, actually this is his copy, his name and address sticker is top right of the back cover, Vinyl is ROUGH, POPS CLICKS throughout, visually as bad, plays through, mainly Soul/Beach cuts on this one as well as a decent version of James Brown’s Try Me. This has to be one of the earliest true “GARAGE” LPs that spans Soul and Rock at the time, dated 1963.
