A righteous classic from singer Linda Tillery – a set that was issued by the all-woman Olivia Records label, with a special market focus in the 70s, but a record that's gone onto find a much wider audience over the years! Linda's got a cool approach here that's a little bit soul and a little bit jazz – almost a deeper vibe that's like a female equivalent of Terry Callier at points, especially given the great production and use of acoustic guitar in the mix. The best cuts here almost might fit on the Strata East label – including the killer "Freedom Time", which is a sublime righteous cut we never tire of hearing! Othe cuts include "Heaven Is In Your Mind", "Markin Time", "Wonderful", and "Don't Pray For Me".
