Description
Artie Shaw " Was It Rain " Brunswick ca. 1937. This is a rare one-sided Test Pressing. (States so on the labels). The other side is completely blank. The regular number for this record is Brunswick #7841 1937. Instrumental with a female vocal near the middle. I don't know who the singer was. This test pressing is a bit thicker than the normal 78. Matrix number is B20681. Mostly nice. Still shiny. A few light surface scratches and scuffs. Played pretty well on my equipment (for a 78). The instruments and the singer come through fairly loud and strong. Some background "sizzling/crackling" but nothing bad. The label is lightly wrinkled and yellowed. The title and artist is hand-written on the label. Very scarce in this form.
