Description

RARE ORIGINAL UK LP - Owen Hand "Something New" (Transatlantic TRA 127) MONO. Recorded in 1961, this record hardly EVER SURFACES!! Tracks include "Sally, Free And Easy", "Morning Train", "The Ogie Man", "Rambling Boy" etc etc. On offer here is a VERY RARE ITEM, but sadly, there are a couple of wee problems - On Side One, there is a small "pop" during play of "Sally Free And Easy", with some background "crackle", BUT before and during the next track "Last Thing On My Mind", there are a couple of loud "pops" and a couple of skips before the track settles down. The LP DOES have some minor surface marks, that will give occasional background "crackle", so obviously NOT PERFECT!! However, most of the tracks are eminently listenable, if you can get over the opening two tracks!! The sleeve is in VG CONDITION, with handling marks, and a small stain on the rear bottom corner (see scan), plus a small flipback abrasion, and a name "J. Thomson" in ink, just below (in pencil) the name "Miss Thomson". If you are STILL interested, and wish more details please contact me. Happy to oblige!!
