Description

RARE ORIGINAL UK EP - "The Fourbeats" (Oxford University Theatre Fund Label UTF 164) MONO. Recorded in 1964, this hard-to-find record features four tracks from "The Fourbeats" - a group consisting of Nigel Tully, Doug Fisher, Ross S. Treliving, Ray Blazdell, Pete Morgan, and on one track,  Annabel Leventon. The four tracks are as follows:- "Do You Love Me?", "Please Mr. Postman", "Baby It's Me" and "They Say". The music itself is pure 60s beat, as you'd expect, BUT this item is EXTREMELY RARE!! The vinyl is in EXCELLENT CONDITION, the sleeve is more EX-, with handling marks, the name "Rosamund Strange" on the front cover(see scan), and also, in abbreviated form, on the rear cover. On the rear cover, there is also a rounded sticker for what I suppose is a record store in Oxford - "Maxwell St. Clements Oxford". I cannot find any more details about this group, or the intention of releasing this EP, but if you require ANY further information, or indeed, can supply more details for me, please contact me.
