FROM THE FJORDS

ORIGINAL 1979 ALBUM This is an original copy of the groundbreaking album released by Legend. It is one of the Holy Grails of Epic Metal. Legend was a New Haven, Conn. band in the late 70's and early 80's. They only released one album, a self-written, self-produced masterpiece. Only 500 copies were pressed so they are hard to come by. The band included Ray Frigon, an amazing drummer who should way more famous than he is, Fred Melillo, whose bass lines go right to your core and the late Kevin Nugent, an unbelievable guitarist with a rock steady voice. (I grew up with Kevin, although we went to seperate high schools and kind of lost touch as we moved in different crowds.)

It kills me let go of this album, but winter's coming here in Vermont... Okay, here are the specifics...The album itself is in near-mint condition. I see no scratches, dirt or abberations of any kind and it sounds great. The cover is in good shape, showing album wear and the corners are a little worn. Check out the photos! The original lyric sheet is clean and intact. I believe the liner sleeve is the original, if it matters, as it is quite yellowed. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask!
