You are bidding on THE LESTER YOUNG TRIO
This is the rare seldom seen original 10 inch first pressing on Clef MGC104 deep groove.
Cover is VG+ with some minor bottom edge and spine wear but no split seams .
Visually vinyl is a very glossy VG+ on Side A with some light superficial hairline scratches on one portion of the record ( apx 3 inches in circumference).
Visually Side B is a very glossy VG++ with some minor superficial hairline scratches.
Play graded on a Decca Silver Jubilee Cartridge Side A I cover the waterfront and Somebdoy Loves me there is some light background surface noise with some minor clicks and pops but not serious enough to detract form listening to this rare LP .
Side 2 Found a new baby sound is for the most part loud and clean. Back To the Land has some minor background surface noise but again not serious enough to detract form listening to this great LP.
Remember I’m listening with a very high end cartridge- on a lesser cartridge the background noise will not be as noticeable.
This is an extremely rare LP and even in mint unplayed condition there will be some surface noise as that is the nature of these early 10 inch vinyl pressings.
Overall this is very nice copy of a very rare LP. If surface noise bothers you please do not bid and get yourself the $10 CD version.
