Quite possibly the pinnacle of album-length New Orleans funky soul, written and arranged by Allen Toussaint with backing by The Meters. This underrated gem features the title track two-parter, later brought to the charts by the Pointer Sisters, Sneakin' Sally Through the Alley, subsequently covered by Robert Palmer, plus Occapella [which even Ringo Starr felt compelled to cover!

Hi,
The LP plays with light background noise & pops/crackles. After looking at it under a strong LED light, there are paper scuffs & hairline scratches. Side B is better than Side A, i would say that on reflection it's more of a VG+ than a ++, i'll update the listing now. Cheers Dom
