Description
ULTRA SCARCE! Never before offered (to my knowledge) a demo tape of the band "LEGEND" titled "TAKE IT TO EXTREMES"
I am 90% sure this is NJ based on a couple reasons, I acquired it in NJ , and in the liner notes where it gives thanks to people it gives thanks to "Sayreville's Finest" so that has to be Sayreville NJ!
The date on here is 1989, it wouldn't surprise me if it was recorded a little earlier and just put on this tape in 1989. Sounds definitely earlier but it's possible they recorded in 89
4 Track EP on Cassette
I think it's safe to say only a handful of these were made and probably this one is the only one still around
Now you can find tapes like this often but usually it's a cheesy and poorly put together garage band trying to be Metallica
It's hard to find one that is just pure 80's AOR METAL - very similar to other NJ Private Metal groups from the 80's and early 90's
It's hard to explain, I have sound samples so please MESSAGE me on eBay, and give me your personal email address .... " example : JohnDoe at aol "
And I can send you some clips. I recorded them with my phone so the quality isn't great but you can get an idea of what's on this tape
Tape plays great! Very Lo Fi but I'm thinking that's just the equipment that was used to record it originally
