RARE PRIVATE RECORDS-SON of JAZZ at J.J.'S/JIM HAMILTON
I recently sold the 1965 private party/recordings that were entitled 'Jazz at J.J.'s". Up for auction now is a slightly later recording session with a different group of jazz musicians. This 3-record set is "Son of Jazz at J.J.'s". The jazz artists are: Bernie Leighton on piano, Benny Morton on trombone, Charlie Shavers on trumpet, Tommy Newsom on tenor sax, George Duvivier on bass, Howie Collins on guitar, Gus Johnson on drums and Jimmy Hamilton on clarinet. The three records are in excellent condition and come in their original boxed set, as shown. The corners of the top and bottom are torn, but could easily be taped back together. Since this was not commercially produced, I doubt if there are more than a few of these around! ........Double-click any of my photos and you will get a super-size view of the image!
