Description
This is a 2 sided acetate/laquer pressing of 4x Curtis Knight and Tribe songs plus an additional 2 songs from Troy Seals from Harry Chalpin's Studio 76 recording studio, New York. There is no date, but is most likely from 1970 or 71 at the latest. Side 1 contains 3 Curtis & Tribe cuts, side 2 has 2 more Curtis Knight songs that were subsequently released on a very rare Curtis Knight LP plus 2 from Troy Seals. To my knowledge, at least one of the tracks from side one is unreleased and possibly unknown. The Troy Seals connection is possibly related to Polydor records, as both artists were part of the label in one capacity or another. Seals later switched to writing and productuon, and I cannot find any reference to his tracks on here being released.

Condition of the vinyl is VG-. It still has nearly full gloss and the edges are very close to original condition. Check the clips for audio quality. There is noticeable background noise on the quieter tracks, but some of the uptempo ones play better than graded, including the Troy Seals song "Brother Noah"side A track 1 (clip)
