This is an original 1ST UK pressing of the classic 1970 King Crimson album - Lizard
Very cool Progressive Art Rock / Psych genre
On Island records, pink rim / palm tree label ref ILPS 9141 Matrices are A2U/B2U - 1ST PRESSING!! EARLIEST MATRICES
Record is an EX - theres a couple of light surface marks but still nice and shiny, labels are crisp and clear with just a little spindle wear when turned to the light
Gatefold sleeve is EX, laminated back and front, E.J. Day Group, London and Bedford. Laminate has some ripples which is from production, not through wear Spine is nice and squared and easily readable - sleeve has some light hairline creasing to the outside and some creasing to the inner which the pictures should pick up
Inner is a plain white patent 1125555 - EX if it matters

I use the Record Collector Grading Criteria which is as follows: Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be Mint. Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing. Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
