Description

This is an extremely nice copy of the very rare 1964 soul/R&B 7" E.P. 'R&B CHART-MAKERS No. 3'. It is an original 1st pressing on STATESIDE, cat # SE 1022 (MONO). The front-laminated double flipback GARROD cover is in a SUPERB condition. The labels are unblemished and have no spindle-markings that I can see. The silver text is clear and sharp. Labels carry 'SOLD IN UK...' text and KT price code. The disc vinyl is visually (VERY!) Near mint and plays Mint. Thoroughly play-tested on a KONIG KN-TT20 deck with a lightweight tone-arm.

Please note: the white 'flecks' you may see in the pix are due to reflections during the scanning process and are not present in the reality. Same applies to the blue line which my scanner seems to always produce.

SIDE ONE: MARVIN GAYE: CAN I GET A WITNESS; THE DARNELLS: TOO HURT TO CRY, TOO MUCH IN LOVE TO SAY GOODBYE

SIDE TWO: EDDIE HOLLAND: LEAVING HERE; MARTHA AND THE VANDELLAS: QUICKSAND
