Description

     I am selling an extremely rare RED VINYL 7" record titled "Hello Mary Lou / Travelin' Man" by Ricky Nelson. Released by Imperial Records, catalog #X5741 in 1961. Vinyl is VG+ with a few light marks and plays great overall. Labels look excellent with the exception of part of an old sticker affixed over the title text on the B-side label. Comes in generic sleeve.
  NOTES ABOUT THIS RARE EDITION:  I was unable to find any other copies of this red vinyl edition currently for sale. According to the info. on Discogs, only 5 of these are known to exist, and I couldn't find any past sales data. The labels were actually SWITCHED during production, so that "Travelin' Man" plays on side A, and "Hello Mary Lou" plays on side B. The previous owner stuck their own hand labeled "Hello Mary Lou" sticker on the B-side, and we did our best to remove it, but fragments of the hand written label still remain.

  We purchased a collection of vinyl 7" records from a person who worked at a radio station in the 1960's - 1970's. Included are several promo copies and scarce titles. Please see our related listings for more rare finds and to combine shipping fees!
