Description
This rare 1958 record is the first release by "The Blue Echoes". Only 3000 45's were pressed for Bon Musique Records (#BM-21) in Lansing Michigan. "Debbie" was the "A" side, with the rockabilly "It's Witchcraft" on the "B" side. "Debbie" was picked-up by Detroit's "Arc Distribution", but not by Decca (as expected), so it remained a regional hit. Later recordings were published on the"G Listen" label, and then on the "Alderay Records" label. In 1972 the group recorded their last single on "A New Man" label at the Woolies' studio in Lansing. The grading is VG+ because of a few light scratches that do not effect the listening experience-with no crackles. There is also some label ring wear and red marks on the "A" side (see pictures from my scanner-above).
