This magnificent treasure chest of 22 RARE UNRELEASED tracks is a must for Rolling Stones aficionados. Every track is a beauty, but among the best of the best is a remarkable version of Robert Johnson’s blues classic, “Key to the Highway,” featuring Keith Richards on lead vocals from the Voodoo Lounge outtakes; “Tumbling Dice” live in Paris, France, 1995; a special 6:50 version of “Gimme Shelter;” original “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” acetate; live versions of “Out of Control” and Anybody Seen My Baby?” from the VH1 Fashion Show, 1997; a blistering live version of “Undercover of the Night” from 1990; and a stunning alternative version of “Memory Hotel,” from the Toshiba Studios session in Tokyo, Japan on March 5, 1993. But these are among the few of the 22 powerful cuts on this 2-LP vault of rarities.
