Description

PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. Because of that dedication, there should be no need to open a resolution dispute before working with us. Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SHIPPING: USA ~ 1 LP = $4.00 Media Priority rates vary by area; please inquire. MANY YEARS AGO ...no see ... VERY RARE and CLEAN old 1970 classic underground DOUBLE album in THICKest of gatefold covers ....this epic is said to be a whopping 77 minutes long over the course of the 4 sides...on the infamous RUBBER DUBBER/TMOQ label which was the PRE-TRADE MARK OF QUALITY (TMOQ) label in their pioneering stages back 50 years ago ... we've had this stored away for many past years and figured today, someone will appreciate the item, well off the usual seen beaten path!
All songs are exclusive versions to the studio limitations you all know.
This album is actually recorded on a magical - electric - night in Essen Germany 1970
Remember, the Stones at their finely crafted peak without all the supporting act members you will find in more recent days.
Stripped down and raw... The STONES on FIRE!

A classic artifact from 1970...
Urban legend has it that underground recording wizards at "Rubber Dubber" would have a truck outside the concert hall to record the records they released, with Jimi Hendrix's Los Angeles Forum and the Rolling Stones' "LivR Than You'll Ever Be" being two of their more famous efforts before allegedly getting busted. In a world where the Grateful Dead decided to give live music away to perpetuate their respective myths, and Frank Zappa's "beat the boots" campaign no doubt inspired Experience Hendrix to legitimize these recordings on their own imprint, the last vestiges of early '70s underground albums became collector's items and exciting gray-area treasures. The sonic quality here is still impressive for the nature of all things considered, and the performance is great with tracks being exclusive versions to this very album.

The Rolling Stones 1970 European Tour was released just after the Rubber Dubber bust. so the label, though in reality "Rubber Dubber" disguised itself with "ROLL/ROPE" labels to the double album and adds taped on group photo custom art slick to the exact same thick WHITE gatefold covers Rubber Dubber had been using in synonymous with their high quality standards.
