Description

This is an Extremely Rare 1934 Uncoated Aluminum Radio Show Transcription Disc featuring a excerpts from "The Fleischmann Yeast Hour" radio program of March 15, 1934 starring Rudy Vallee with guests Eddie Leonard, Fay Bainter & Walter Huston

Approximately 13 1/2 minutes on this 12 inch, one sided, 33/13 rpm, uncoated aluminum disc.  This disc contains parts 4 & 9 of the radio program

Part 4 begins during a sketch in progress featuring a scene from the Broadway production of "Dodsworth" featuring Walter Huston & Fay Bainter.  Walter Huston sings "Why Speak Of It Now"

Part 9 begins with Rudy Vallee introducing Eddie Leonard, Vallee introduces him as "The Greatest Minstrel Of Them All".  Eddie Leonard sings "Ida" and "Roly Boly Eyes".  The disc ends with Rudy Vallee singing "Ill  Wind" (reprise) and closing announcements for the radio program

This is a very rare, most likely one of a kind disc

This disc was recorded for Rudy Vallee and came directly from the estate of Rudy Vallee

Disc is in good to very good condition with good to very good sound - typical sound for uncoated aluminum
