These are Extremely Rare 1933 Uncoated Aluminum Radio Show Transcription Discs featuring the "Hollywood On The Air" radio program of July 15, 1934 starring RUSS COLUMBO
Approximately 15 minutes on these two 12 inch, 78 rpm, uncoated aluminum discs. These discs were recorded for reference purposes only and not available to the general public
These are extremely rare, most likely one of a kind discs
"Hollywood On The Air" from July 15, 1934 starring RUSS COLUMBO with Jimmy Fidler. Russ Columbo sings "Rolling In Love", "I've Had My Moments" & "I'm Not Lazy, I'm Dreaming". All songs feature introduction by the announcer.
Program includes Hollywood news and movie reviews by Jimmy Fidler. The recording begins during the opening announcement. Program was originally broadcast on NBC
Russ Columbo was tragically, accidently shot and killed on September 2, 1934 and these discs contain one of the last radio performances of Russ Columbo
Discs are in very good condition with very good sound - actually quite good sound for uncoated aluminum
