Description
The Walt Disney Company sent these collectible, vinyl record promotions out to radio stations to promote their newest movies. This one was sent to promote, The Bears and I, plus The Shaggy Dog (one of my favorite childhood movies).
It was mailed out in a square, manila envelope with a drawing of Mickey Mouse in the upper left corner listening to an old-fashioned radio with the words, Radio Spots above his head. This auction includes the original envelope. The envelope is missing a small piece underneath where the postage was.
Inside the envelope were 2 pieces of thick cardboard with the vinyl record inside them in a paper sleeve. The vinyl record also says, Radio Spots with the same picture of Mickey Mouse on it. There was no jacket included in the mailing, just the envelope and cardboard pieces. There are 6 radio spots on one side of the record and 8 radio spots on the other side and the record is in NM condition.
Promos were for Commercial Radio Station Use Only.
