Description
Robert Gordon - Born to Lose
Includes ONLY SIDE A of the direct metal master (DMM) for the 1980 single. The DMM is used to create the stampers (an inversion of the record) that the vinyl gets pressed onto. Each side of the single is an individual DMM, so this piece is just for Side A--the song "Born to Lose".
The DMM features the matrix/run-out PB 11919 A - MR ∆106656. MR refers to the Monarch Record Manufacturing Company in Los Angeles.
The DMM is in excellent shape for its age. No visible scratches, but does have surface marks from handling. This is more of a collectible and not something you would expect to be able to play at home. But these are not easily found outside pressing plants and for those who collect, this is a great find.
