Here’s an exceptionally scarce rockabilly/teen sound 45: Tommy & The Delnotes on Charter Records (Nashville) with “Doomed by a Stranger” b/w “Without Your Love.”
🔎 About the Artist & Label:
• Tommy & the Delnotes were a short-lived Southern teen rock ’n’ roll group active in the early ’60s.
• Released on Charter Records, a tiny Nashville imprint that only issued a handful of singles. This was their very first catalog release (Charter 001, 1962), making it a true cornerstone for collectors.
• Songwriter credit to Pat Tedder, who worked with several Nashville acts in the late ’50s/early ’60s.
• Produced and distributed in extremely limited numbers, making originals tough to track down today.
