You are bidding on one of the more rare combo autographs in Hollywood History....it's a Rosemary & Meredith Willson signed letter on his stationary. He wrote the book, music and lyrics to the Award Winning Show "The Music Man" & he also wrote the Music & Lyrics to another iconic Broadway show, "Here's Love" which was based off of the movie "A Miracle on 34th St."

She, Rosemary was his 3rd wife (married in 1968) and was with him until the day he passed away (6-15-1984). She originally worked for Meredith and then the two became romantically involved and got married.

This letter is dated September 23 (NO year). They are writing to 2 dear friends of theirs', the Doemling sisters (Helen & Margo). The letter sounds like they are thanking them for dinner  and breakfast and a great time during their visit. It's a wonderful letter to what appears to be great friends. It just show's what type of person Meredith and his wife were...very gracious and polite. True friends.

You can easily tell that both signed and they are of different writing styles. Rosemary puts more pressure as she scrolls her name while Meredith is loose and more flamboyant with his signature. Also, I would have to say that Meredith wrote the letter content and then had his wife sign and he followed. Just look at each of his letters in his name and match....yes, he absolutely penned the letter and let Rosemary sign her name herself.

This is one of the best Hollywood items you can probably purchase for still a more reasonable amount given Meredith's status in Hollywood. He has a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!

As for the condition of the letter...I would grade it EX+. It has some folds from being mailed but other than that there is NO problems.

This is a true piece of music/show industry history.....very rarely do you get an opportunity to purchase an autograph from this talented person who also wrote the music & lyrics for the classic "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" and "Here's Love" based off of Miracle On 34th Street.

This is guaranteed to pass any authentication as any autograph I sell.
