GRADING SUMMARY

-Mint: hardly ever use this grade

-Near Mint: Close To perfect as possible;passes for new

-Excellent:Shows very little evidence of wear; maybe few marks but no real defects

-VG+: Any number of moderate scuffs, markings, wear etc, may have audible noise but sound overpowers

-VG: More pronounced and obvious defects, wears,stickers, markings,some audible noise, clicks;but sound is much more than the defects

-VG-: lots of defects ; record is noisy ( hardly will be in my listing

ALBUM COVERS & LABELS

Mint: no marks on labels no tears, no holes; no edge wear; no seam split at all; no soil;pen marks

Excellent: cover or label nice an clean with maybe only 1or 2 conditions (i.e hole, tiny edge wear; or small seam split;pen marks)

VG+:cover or label will have 2 or more conditions(i.e soiled or markings; seam split but not all the way; markings

VG: may be all the aboved conditions but still nice

VG-: label or cover is in bad shape;  maybe full seam split; top and bottom; have to be kept in place by inner cover
