Description
Russian pressing of The Fab Four’s 1964 “A Hard Day’s Night.” LP.
Produced by state-run Melodia record label apparently in 1990 — prior to the dissolution of the Soviet Union — under license from Britain’s EMI.
Music, of course, is in English. But album cover features information in Russian. On vinyl, the song lists on each album side also in Russian.
Style and design of cover is similar to 1964 album. Features 12 songs, ranging rom “A Hard Day’s Night,” to “Can’t Buy Me Love,” to “Any Time at All” and nine more.
Album cover is made of low quality, thin cardboard often typical of Soviet and Eastern Bloc products. Cover has some wrinkles and wear and tear. It also has an interior plastic bag/sleeve protecting vinyl. Vinyl itself appears to feature Western quality and is in relatively good condition with clear, distinct grooves. There is some dust on both sides and a light marking (possible scratch) on one. Album was NOT tested by seller. It’s unknown if this is a stereo or mono recording.
