Description
GREAT ROCK-A-BILLY BOPPER BY WARREN SMITH ON SUN 625.
A few words about the SUN 600's serie, those records are original 70's pressings of unissued 50's recordings. In any case they are bootlegs or re-issues of any kind, as they were never released before. The whole serie (26 different numbers) were released in Nashville beetween 1976 & 1978, from the original SUN tapes by myself, my brother Herve & a friend of ours Henri Ferrero. They were pressed from 600 copies to 1400 copies, so they all are hard to find today.
"I like your kinda love" b/w "Do I love you" (600 copies were released in 1978).
"I like your kinda love" is a great 1958/59 bopper with great vocal & backing, a wild guitar break (lyrics mention " Like the teenagers goes for bandstand, like the pretty girls goes for Elvis"). "Do I love you" sounds like a 1959 rocker with hot vocal & backing and a surprising sax break.
Record plays & looks M-, labels have no writings or stamps of any kind (see scan).
Check my other Rock & Roll/Rockabilly/Country & Western/Blues singles that I have for sale on eBay. Good luck, and thanks for looking!
