Up for purchase here is a MEGA RARE GRAIL in early '60's surfer rock, Baylanders Surfers Rule / Surfers Blues on ORIGINAL IONA PAGODA 7" VINYL. THIS IS THE BEYOND RARE ORIGINAL RELEASE PRIOR TO THE BAND CHANGING THEIR NAME TO JOURNEYMEN.
THE VINYL HAS BEEN CLEANED ON A VPI 16.5, TREATED FOR STATIC WITH A MILTY ZEROSTAT AND COMES IN A NEW ANTI STATIC ARCHIVAL SLEEVE.
The vinyl is in solid VG+ condition and plays LOUDLY. There is a small mark at the beginning of Rule that creates ticks for a few rounds but it flattens out and plays extremely well for remainder of the track. Blues doesn't include any loud or repeating noise. It does play with static across the track but it is overwhelmed with the very loud music. The white Iona labels are notorious for badly showing wear but these labels present great and are certainly above average.
