I’m re-selling the first item I ever bought on eBay, back in 1998.
The Smashing Pumpkins Pisces Iscariot hand-numbered gold vinyl LP (SKU# 0170 4 61767 12; CAT# carol 1767-1) with bonus 7” gold vinyl (CAT# carol 1767-7). Pressed in 1994 on Caroline / Virgin Records. Limited Edition Hand-Edition # 502/2000. The 7” contains Not Worth Asking (side Test A) and Honey Spider II (side Test B).
My best estimate of grading is VG+ (jacket) / NM or EX (both vinyl). Jacket has a couple major bends (most notably in the lower-right corner of the front and lower-left corner of the back), some warping along the opening, some more minor bends, and some minor scratches and very minor smudges. The 12” sleeve is in great shape except for some bending in one of the corners. The 7” sleeve, which is plain white paper (I assume this is the original), has bending in one corner and is split about 1.5” wide at the bottom. Both vinyls are in great shape, with only some very minor scratches and some fingerprint smudges. They each have a few minor “artifacts” apparently embedded in the vinyl (each less than the size of a pin-head, about a millimeter); they’re difficult to spot unless you hold the vinyl up to a light. The label of the 7” is just slightly torn at the center (a couple millimeters; again, hardly noticeable) and some VERY minor scratches, smudges, other imperfections. I took some photos to capture the aforementioned flaws, even putting the jacket in a light that showed the bends best. I never played the 12” and only played the 7” once, but I can’t speak to how many times they were played by the original owner.
PLEASE NOTE: I’m almost positive that the sleeve currently accompanying the 12” vinyl, which is on glossy-card stock and contains lyrics and other info (see photo) actually came with my other (normal, black vinyl) copy of Pisces, which I sold a while ago. I’m pretty sure the original 12” sleeve for this vinyl was identical except on plain white paper (not glossy), like the sleeve of the 7” here. They must have been switched at some point.
